When using param, inrel, -1 in a Nastran solution, how can I define the SUPORT cards?

Solution

Follow these steps to define support cards, and other dof sets:

1. Use right mouse on the Solver Sets in the simulation and select New, Dof Set.

2. Select the nodes that will be used as supports.

3. Open the Listing area of the form to assign different dof to each of the selected nodes.

4. Once the dof solver set is created, edit the solution, select the Bulk Data option, open the DOF Sets   

    area  of the form, and select the solver setto be used for fictitious supports.
