NX Importing KRX File of Fastener Assembly in Teamcenter Environment.

How to import "HoleFastenerMap.krx" and "ReuseLibraryFasteners.krx" in Teamcenter Environment. 

Solution

To import "HoleFastenerMap.krx" and "ReuseLibraryFasteners.krx" in Teamcenter Environment; You need to change the extension of the ".krx" file to ".xml" and then use this KRX file with the .xml extension in Teamcenter for import. Kindly refer below steps for the same –


1.       Rename the extension of KRX file to XML which you would like to import, like for "HoleFastenerMap.krx" and "ReuseLibraryFasteners.krx" rename it as "HoleFastenerMap.xml" and "ReuseLibraryFasteners.xml", see below snap-
 

 
2.       Create an Item in the Teamcenter and under the Item Revision Create a KRX Dataset, like as per below snap-
 



3.       Now, import the KRX file, like "ReuseLibraryFasteners.xml" created in 'Step-1', refer below snap.
