Summary

Details

When using "Isolate in New Window" it's not possible to switch to the Drafting environment.
"Make Displayed Part" is no longer available in the MB3 button menu.

Solution

"Make Displayed Part" is now "Open in Window" in NX12.
Since now you see the tabs of the open part/sub-assembly, you simply get the "Displayed Part" in a new window.

"Make Displayed Part" / "Open in Window" opens the actual part/sub-assembly outside the top-assembly structure.
Now it's possible to edit the part/sub-assembly as if it was opened stand-alone.

"Isolate in New Window" was introduced in NX11, with this command the user can select one or more components/sub-assemblies --> MB3 --> "Isolate in New Window".
A new Model view "Isolate" is created and made Work View, only showing above selection.

The Assembly Navigator still shows all components and you can select another component/sub-assembly, MB3 --> Show in Isolate window, or select a component/sub-assembly that is shown, MB3 --> Hide in Isolate window.
