Summary

Details

Issue when plotting a Motion Profile Object (MB3/Plot). This Profile is defined from an external file with lot of points (> 200,000), table in MS Excel.Plotting the Motion profile looks very different from the input data coming from the Excel File. You could see different min and max, different global shape...

In fact, the curve data is well recorded in the model definition and it will be applied correctly. This issue is due to the data used for the XY Plot:The software is sampling 1000 equidistant points from the solver, which is mostly meant to see how the interpolation works. The number is fixed to 1000 for performance reasons. This only makes sense if the original data doesn't contain a large amount of points.

Solution

Do not worry because the curve data is well applied.

An ER is open for the issue
