Tecnomatix Quality Management DPV:inquiry, does NextGen DPV ETL Enterprise v11.6 need Teamcenter corp server?

Does the "NextGen DPV ETL Enterprise v11.6" installation NOT require that Teamcenter corp server be intstalled on the ETL in order for the ETL to function properly as in previous versions like "NextGen DPV ETL Enterprise v11.2.3.1_a01_2"?
