How do you hide certain parts in a section view?

Solution

There are several ways to achieve this:
1. Use the "Section Only" option while creating the section view. This will only show you the paper thin section where the cutting plane intersects the view.
2. Use the Hide Edges command to turn off geometry.
3. Set a drawing view depth so that the section view only sees what lies between Depth A and Depth B.
4. Go to the drawing view properties and uncheck the "Show" option for individual parts you wish to hide.
