Solid Edge Import IFC files with Physical Properties Update On Save

There is an option line in SEIFC.ini which does not exist when you install Solid Edge, but if you export an assembly to IFC4 a new line is subsequently created in the file:


Import Physical Properties Update On Save=Default

Solution

This option in the SEIFC.INI file is not yet completely implemented and can be ignored for now.  It will override the "Update on file save" setting during translation when fully implemented in a subsequent release.  This can save time when the user saves the translated Solid Edge file (though there will be no improvement during file open).


The User can currently do this manually by turning this option off in the template file.  Note that the physical properties will not be updated automatically on any file save created from such template unless the option is turned on.
