A method in Synchronous to create a partial flange so that it is centered to an edge.

Solution

There are multiple ways to create a partial flange, so that it is centered to an edge. One method is described below, assuming that you start with a tab centered to the base coordinate:

1. Click an edge of the tab. Then click on the secondary axis. The command bar will come up. Click on the 'Partial' button and place the flange.
2. Fence select the faces of the partial tab.
3. Position the Steering Wheel to the midpoint of an edge of the partial flange.
4. Click on the Steering Wheel axis to move the faces along the edge. Then click on the origin of the base coordinate system point to move to.  As a result, the partial flange will be in the desired position.
