The following procedure can be used to select all of the nodes inside a hole

Solution

The NX/Simcenter3D Pre/Post application has options to be able to narrow down or filter objects that are selected with a minimal amount of clicks.  In this case the following procedure is two simple steps.

 to group the set of nodes that are assocated to the cylindrical surface

1. Set the Method Filter to Related Nodes first.

2.  Set the Type Filter dropdown to Polygon Face, then select the face in the hole and the polygon face will  highlight the nodes on the face.
