NX NX installation fails - "This installation may require additional dependencies"

During the NX installation, the following error appears
"This installation may require additional dependencies"

Solution

The NX software image was corrupted during the download.
The resulting file size of the downloaded NX software image did not match the exact file size of the NX software image as listed on the download server. The installer also observed the download session was interrupted several times. 

Re-downloading the NX software and confirming the image file size, making sure it matched
the file size listed for this image (as shown on the download server, right down to the very last byte) solved the problem.

This time, the installation proceeded and completed successfully and without error.
