NX About the appearance of the shape in the case of Non-Geometric components in Structure manager.

Create an assembly with the components of the "Component is Non-Geometric" setting in NX.
The user can't see the shape in NX.
Now open this assembly in TC Vis.
The user can't see the shape in TC Vis.
But when you open the same assembly in Structure Manager you can see the shape or geometry even though it is a Non-Geometric component. The user wants to know how to avoid this in Structure Manager.

Solution

In the Structure Manager add a Colum "UG GEOMETRY" and set the value as "NO".
Then set the Preference "TCVIS_allow_NGC_expand" to False and Restart Teamcenter.
You will not see the geometry for the Non-Geometric component in Structure Manager.
