When Solid Edge terminates it will generate an automatic crashlog file and ask if you wish to e-mail the crashlog to the Solid Edge Product Development Center:
However, after clicking "Yes" your e-mail application does not open and the crashlog cannot be sent.
Solution
In order for the automatic crashlog file to be sent through e-mail, your e-mail application must be MAPI complaint.
If your e-mail application is not MAPI compliant then Solid Edge will not be able to send the crashlog.
The best way to determine if your e-mail application is MAPI compliant is to check the documentation with your e-mail application.
Another way to check if your e-mail application is MAPI compliant is to follow these steps:
1. Launch Windows Explorer.
2. Select a file that can be sent via e-mail e.g. Word document.
3. Right-click the file, click "Send to" -> "Mail recipient".

4. If your e-mail application is MAPI compliant a new message window should open with the file attached.

5. This e-mail window would be a similar window to what you would see if able to successfully e-mail the automated Solid Edge crashlog file e.g.
