Solid Edge Client not Insight aware and offline

Following a reboot, the Solid Edge client does not recognize the Solid Edge PDM client, Insight. Also the client appears be in an offline mode. 



Solution

From the Start Menu, Solid Edge group, select the "Choose PDM Integration" UI and toggle on the Insight Client. The UI now presents the missing Insight menus and icons. If the client still shows itself to be in offline mode, go to the Insight Cache Assistant and toggle the setting to online mode. Then selected the option to check-in all files.
