NX Save as the part with the same item type using Save As New Item Type command

Save as the part with the same item type using Save As New Item Type dialog

Solution

Save as the part with the same item type using Save As New Item Type dialog is blocked until user changes the item type to different item type, from NX12.0 onwards. 

If the user tries to save as the part keeping the same item type then he following warning is displayed.

If user want to save as the part with the same item type, then use the command "Save As", change the Action to "New Item".
