How to Customize the Default Files Name When Exporting a PDF.

Solution

Within NX select 'File -> Utilities -> Customer Defaults -> Gateway -> Plotting -> Job Name (tab) -> Entry 1, Entry 2 and Entry 3'.

The output file name has 3 separate entries to control it. 
By default, the first called "Entry 1" is set to assign "the users login name", the second called "Entry 2" is set to assign "the part name", and the third called "Entry 3" is set to blank. 
Therefore, by default, if you have a part file by the name "test.prt", then you will have a PDF file output name called "(your login name_test.pdf".
Users can change these setting in the Customer Defaults on this page.

Notes and References

This works for all releases of NX that can generate a PDF file.
