Zoom Direction is Reversed in NX10  and Later Releases Versus Previous NX releases.

Solution

To change how Zoom works in NX:

'File -> Utilities -> Customer Defaults -> Gateway -> View Operations -> View Operations -> Direction 'Change the default NX10 setting from "Forward to Zoom In" to "Backward to Zoom In", to make the zoom behavior match NX9 and earlier releases of NX.

This change was done to match other CAD systems and is now the common industry practice of scrolling forward to zoom into an on-screen object.
