---------------
How can you check if a component is fully constrained?

Solution

To check if a component is fully constrained, select the component from the
Assembly Navigator --> do a Right Mouse Button --> select "Show Degrees of
Freedom". If the component is fully constrained it will not show any Degrees
of Freedom and the Status line will read "There are no degrees of freedom".

Another option is to use Information --> Assemblies --> List Components. there
will be a column for Positioned and it will list the components as Fully
Constrained, Partially Constrainted, Fixed, or Absolute.
