How to enable the Save Option "Save True Shape Data"?

How to enable the ability to save True Shape Data in NX?

Solution

In order to enable access to True Shape Data saving the following 2 customer defaults need to BOTH be set:


File --> Utilities --> Customer Defaults --> Assemblies --> Site Standards --> True Shape tab


1) Cell Size = 0.1 <<<<some value besides "0" must be entered


2) Toggle "Generate Component Shape Representations on Save" to ON



Save the defaults, close and restart NX and you will now be able to access the File--> Save--> Save Options... "Save True Shape Data" toggle.
