---------------
Using File --> New, selecting the "Blank" template to see the list of item
types, and not all of the custom item types are displayed. This is causing
issues with trying to use our own template files that are defined with those
custom item types.
Solution
There are a few reasons why the Custom Item Types will not display in the
NX Manager dialog, here are a couple that will cause the problem.
Check the Custom Item Types in BMIDE for the following;
1. In Display Rules tab, Check if there are any Groups defined for the "Hide
Business Object Rule" and see if the column for Condition is set to isTrue. If
so, make sure that the user that is logged into Teamcenter is not set to any of
those Groups that are set to Hide that Business Object Rule.
2. Using BMIDE, check to see if any properties of the Custom Item Type (or any
business object related to that Custom Item Type) have been set to Required.
Required properties are not supported until NX10.0.
