How to modify the 'Overhang' of one extension line without affecting the
'Overhang' of the other extension line in a Linear dimension.
Solution
1. Double-click the dimension to edit it.
There will be hotspots displayed on the dimension to allow for different
elements of the dimension to be individually edited.
2. Select the Extension Line hotspot on the extension line that will be
modified.
This will display one arrow on both ends of the extension line.
3. Select the arrow that controls the Overhang.
4. In the pop-up dialog, toggle OFF 'Synchronize Both Sides'.
This looks like two magenta circular arrows.
5. Now the Overhang arrow can be dragged to a new location to
increase/decrease the Overhang on just the one extension line.
