Summary

Details

The customer has received an old part file, originating in NX2.  When he writes out the CLSF for the operations in the file, he only gets a feed rate for the first cutting pass.  After the tool retracts (rapids) to get to the start of the next pass, no new feed rate words are written.  All the moves come out as rapids for the rest of the operation.

Solution

The software has drastically changed how noncutting moves and feed rates are applied since NX2.  Other newer setups do not behave this way.  As an immediate workaround, you can assign a fast feed rate instead of using rapid moves to force the output.  If the tool path always stays in a G01 feed type of condition, it should keep up with the changes in the actual feed rate number in use.

Testing shows that removing the Rapid moves and converting to high inch per minute moves where Rapids are used resolves the issue, and is an acceptable workaround for the user.
