Lets review WIndows installer options:

 Administrative install - Installs a product on the network

 Advertises a product - m to all users, u to current user

 Uninstalls the product
Display Options
 /quiet
 Quiet mode, no user interaction
 /passive
 Unattended mode - progress bar only

 Sets user interface level
 n - No UI
 b - Basic UI
 r - Reduced UI
 f - Full UI (default)

Restart Options
 /norestart
 Do not restart after the installation is complete

You can modify restart behavior by selecting 1 of the following 3 options:


/norestart - Do not restart after the installation is complete


/promptrestart - Prompts the user for restart if necessary


/forcerestart - Always restart the computer after installation 


Msiexec is not Siemens software - it is Microsoft Windows software, so 
some of the features in the msiexec options list may not be supported by all 
Siemens software installs.

Siemens does *not* suggest to use /norestart unless followed by a reboot
elsewhere in installation script and before other software is installed.

It is important to have all Siemens software in a 'clean' state before additional
software is installed or other changes are made.
