Details

Sheet Metal bend line fonts are not maintained in an exported DXF file.
Dashed and Phantom lines that represent bend lines in NX are displaying as
a Solid font in the exported DXF file.

Solution

The issue is that the dashed and phantom fonts repeat on top of each other
causing the line font to appear solid when opened in AutoCAD or another DXF
viewer.

To remedy the line font scales:
1. Select 'File->Export->AutoCAD DXF/DWG'.
2. In the Steps column, select 'Line Styles'.
3. Turn on the option, 'Specify DXF/DWG Line Type Scale Factor'.
4. In 'Scale Factor' column, double-click on a value to edit it.
5. Modify the value from 1.00, and change it to, .02.
NOTE: A value smaller than 1.0 determines the frequency of the pattern
 repeat across a unit.
6. Proceed with the export.
The lined fonts will now be displayed correctly.

Notes and References

If the Line Type Sale is greater than 1.0, the pattern will repeat less than 1
time per unit.
If the Line Type Sale is less than 1.0, it will repeat the number of times the fractional amount goes into a unit.
