Summary

Details

When creating a Projected view, there is an option on the dialog for
'Associative Alignment'.
If this option is toggled ON, the view origins will be linked and both views will move if the Base or parent view is moved.
How to toggle this OFF so existing views will move independently.

Solution

 For existing views created using the 'Associative Alignment' option:
1. Hover the cursor over the projected view border.
2. MouseButton3-->View Alignment.
3. On the View Alignment dialog, expand the List group.
4. Highlight the row where the 'Method' column is set to 'Hinge'.
5. Above the List, the option for 'Associative Alignment' will display.
6. Uncheck 'Associative Alignment'.
7. OK the View Alignment dialog.
Now the projected view and the Base or parent view can move independently
of each other.
