How to create a Center Mark in the center of an oblong using PMI.
Solution
1. Select 'PMI-->Supplemental Geometry-->Center Mark'.
2. In the Selection Bar, turn on the snap-point option,
'Two-curve Intersection'.
3. Select the first arc edge of the slot (not the arc centerpoint).
4. Select the second arc edge of the slot.
The Center Mark will be placed in the center of the slot.
If additional Center Marks are needed in a line continue to step 5.
If no other Center Marks are needed, continue to step 9.
5. In the Selection Bar, turn on the snap-point option,
'Two-curve Intersection'.
6. Select the first arc edge of the slot.
7. Select the second arc edge of the slot.
8. [Optional} Repeat steps 5-7 for any additional Center Marks in the line.
9. Use additional options if needed such as Orientation Plane and
Angle Value to get the desired output.
10. OK the PMI Center Mark dialog.
