NX Needs to track center of ball in a Blade Finish operation

How can I track the center of a Ball mill in a Blade Finish operation?

Solution

 When postprocessing the toolpath...select "Output Ball Center".

"Output Ball Center" triggers the MOM_ball_center_output event before the MOM_start_of_path event for all operations in which the tool is a mill tool and the tool subtype is one of the following: SPHERICAL_MILL BALL_MILL MILL with Diameter =Lower Radius * 2

You must add the enable_ball_center_output to your postprocessor. For more information, see Enable center of ball output.
