How to create a radial dimension with an 'All Around' symbol.
Solution
The 'All Around' symbol is not available for a radial leader.
The work around is as follows:
1. In Drafting, select the 'Note' icon.
2. On the Note dialog set the Leader Type to use the 'All Around' leader.
3. In the Text Input field enter "R" and a space.
4. Expand the Symbols group in the dialog.
5. Toggle Category to 'Relationships'.
6. Select the 'Insert Expression' icon.
7. Select the expression that defines the radius value.
- Note if using a Mater Model drawing, select the 'Link to Part'
button, select the master model part file, and select the radius value
expression from the part.
8. OK the Expressions dialog.
9. In the Note dialog, under the Leader grouping, highlight
'Select Terminating Object'.
10. Select the radial edge or object for the arrow to be located.
11. Select the location for the origin to place the Note/Dimension.
The Note will display the All Around symbol on the leader and is associated to
the expression value; so that if the expression value changes, the value
displayed on the drawing will update also.
