---------------

The customer created a split body feature in NX Modeling (there is no IPART).

When he creates a new FEM, the split bodies generate an MMC, which is not the

desired effect.

Can the split body feature be edited to turn off the simulation specific

features in modeling based commands?

Solution

There is a simulation switch in modeling to allow simulation feature settings

on Modeling menus.

In Modeling, go to Menu>Preferences - Simulation tab and toggle on "Show

Simulation-specific Dialog Items in Modeling Commands.

Users can edit features while working in Modeling and modify simulation

specific settings.
