---------------
In Weld Assistant, the Spot weld option has a Weld Class but the Fillet Welds
do not. How can you add the weld class for Fillet Welds?

Solution

 In the Customer Defaults for Weld Assistant. Go to "Creation" and first select
the "Resistant Spot" weld tab and notice in the Characteristics it has a list
for WELD_CLASS.

 List:Class:WELD_CLASS:I,II,III:III:::Required

Copy and Paste that line into the Characteristics for Fillet Weld. Restart NX
and open your part and add a Fillet Weld, but before Applying the weld go into
the Welding Characteristics section of the dialog and you will now have an
option now for "Class", if you select the cell in the Value column it will
have a drop down to set it to either I, II, III, User Defined...
