Summary

Details

When rotating a modeling view, whose Rendering Style has been set to Static Wireframe, the visible edges do not update to display as hidden edges. If Replace View is used to show a different view, the visible and hidden edges update correctly as the view is rotated.

Solution

It is possible that the Edge Display Settings have been changed for the view.

Select "File --> Preferences --> Visualization".   Expand Rendering and select the Styles sub category.  Under the Rendering Styles heading, change "Apply to" to "Selected Model Views" and select the view that is not updating as expected.  The Rendering Style should reflect the current view state (Static Wireframe) and the Static Hidden Edges will also update to its current state in the view (Invisible).

When Static Hidden Edges is set to "Invisible" the visible and hidden edges will not update when the view is rotated.  Set Static Hidden Edges to "Visible" and OK the dialog.  The view will update automatically and now the visible and hidden edges in the view will update when the view is rotated.
