---------------
When adding Section or Detail views, the view letter A or A-A cannot be
displayed in a different font style from the Labels words SECTION and DETAIL.
There's no Preference setting for the view letters, how do you make the Letters
a different font style.
Solution
The View Letters can be set to a different font style by using the Control
Characters <Fn>, <F> in the Prefix fields for View Lable.
For this example the word SECTION will be created in Leroy font, and
the section view letters A-A will be created in Lublin font.
a) Check if the Font that you want to use for the View Label Letters resides
in your part file by using File --> Utilities --> Character Font.
In this example Lublin font is #4, that's number that will be used in
the Control Character. i.e <F4>.
* If the font does not reside in the Part file, you can add the font by
choosing Add font. The font number that is given, that will be the number
that is to be used in the control character.
b) Edit the Customer Default Drafting Standard, i.e ISO(shipped).
c) Go to Drafting --> Annotation, set the Font style for General Text to
be created with Leroy font.
d) Go to Drafting Standard --> View Label --> Section. There are 2 sections
with PREFIX settings, View Label and View Scale.
For View Label --> Prefix, enter the text string;
<SECTION<F4>
For View Scale --> Prefix, enter the text string;
<F>SCALE
* The <F> resets the font back to the original font, the Word SCALE will
be creatd with leroy font.
e) Save-as to create a new Drafting Standard, restart NX.
Now when a section view is added the section view Letters A-A will be be
created in Lublin font, or whatever font number that is assigned in the
Control Character.
