Problems installing the Siemens PLM Documentation Server is failing.
Two errors show up:
"Java Version 1.7 (64-bit) or higher is required. Found version 1.0."After pressing OK, the installer seems to progress normally, but ends with an error and rolls-back the installation.
"
Error 1920. Service Siemens PLM Documentation Server (Siemens PLM Documentation Server) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services."
Solution
Make sure you have at least
Java 64-bit installed. By default installation from www.java.com, will install the 32-bit version of Java. You will need to go to "all downloads" in order to download also the 64-bit version.

The advice is to always install both Java 32-bit and 64-bit as that are more processes within NX that need java, and version can change per action.
