NX Start of Path and End of Path Events are Either Blank or Only Show Limited User Defined Events

A Postprocessor Error message is displayed when opening an operation in NX.

After this message is displayed and when attempting to edit the Start of Path or End of Path Events the Events Available menu is empty.

In some earlier versions of NX this menu might only show a limited set of User Defined Events (UDE). What could be causing these display issues?

Solution

If edits were made to the ude.cdl and the syntax of one of the commands was made incorrectly then display issues will result. Rename the edited ude.cdl and restore the out of the box version. Add each custom UDE back in one at a time and test it until the problem UDE is identified.

Be sure and check the very last line of the ude.cdl file. Entering either a blank line or a "}" character will work. Notice below that using the "#" character will cause a failure.
