NX installation with dongle license (HOSTID=UG_HWKEY_ID=xxxx) and Rainbow SuperPro dongle.
Solution
1. You must have a Rainbow SuperPro dongle and an accordingly license file like the example below:

Makes sure to find the string "HOSTID=UG_HWKEY_ID=" in it.
2. Create a folder (e.g. C:\NX_License) and copy the license file in this folder.
Give the license a meaningful name (e.g. NX10_Dongle.lic)
3. Install the NX software.
Please note:
This type of licensing is a so called "Stand Alone" installation and no license server is needed to install. Skip this step in the launch.exe.
During the installation process you will be prompted for the license. Browse to the license file C:\NX_License\NX10_Dongle.lic
-> the variable SPLM_LICENSE_SERVER=C:\NX_License\NX10_Dongle.lic will be created automatically.
4. After the installation navigate to the folder ${UGII_BASE_DIR}\UGFLEXLM and execute the file
"sentinel_installer.exe".
This will install the Sentinel software for the communication between NX and the dongle.
Please note: The dongle must not plugged in.
5. Download the program "Sentinel Advanced Medic" from
http://www.safenet-inc.com/support-downloads/sentinel-drivers/
With this program you can check if the Sentinel software has installed properly
and the dongle will be detected.
6. Plug-in the dongle and execute the "Sam1.3.1.exe".
In the upcoming window click on "Troubleshoot". The "Basic Checks" should running successfully.
7. Bundle selection:
Execute the file "LicensingTool.exe" in the folder ${UGII_BASE_DIR}\UGFLEXLM.
In the upcoming window click on "Bundle Settings" and choose the desired bundle.
8. Start NX. The program should coming up successfully and without errors.
