NX for Design

Summary

Details

Setting the Customer Default for dimension Arrowhead Type to 'Closed Solid Arrow' (which has the appearance of a non-filled closed arrowhead), results in a 'Solid Arrow' (filled) being created for PMI and Drafting dimensions. (This is despite the fact that the 'Drafting - Workflow - Settings Origination' is
set to 'Drawing Standard'.)

Solution

In addition to setting the Arrowhead Type to 'Closed Solid Arrow' (via 'File --> Utilities --> Customer Defaults --> Drafting --> General/Setup --> Standard --> Customize Standard --> Common --> Line/Arrow --> Arrowhead --> Leader and Dimension --> Type'), on the same dialog it is also necessary to uncheck the 'Fill Arrowheads' option. Failing to do this will result in a 'Solid Arrow' (filled) being created, rather than a 'Closed Solid Arrow' (non-filled) arrowhead.
