NX Work Instruction Displays Error "MOM_TCL: Can not execute command"

Work Instruction reports a MOM error when attempting to load a drawing sheet. Views can be added but not sheets. Displayed error is "MOM_TCL: Can not execute command". Error in the log file is "UGII_SDI_SERVER_CFG_DIR environment variable does not point to a valid directory or the directory cannot be accessed".

Solution

This message is reported when the plotter installation is incomplete. This same error would be displayed when attempting to plot a drawing from CAD. The suggested means to resolve this is to reinstall NX using the Typical rather than the Custom installation.
