Summary

Details

When trying to access the NX "Lattice Structures Design" function, first introduced in NX11.0.2, the user receives the error, "Module not licensed".

Solution

You can use the LATTICE command to create lightweight structural convergent bodies that can be produced using additive manufacturing technologies.

You can select from many different cell types and specify the cell edge length and rod diameter. You can also specify the placement and orientation of the lattice.

You can access the LATTICE command in NX from inside the Modeling Application;

 Home-> Feature (group)-> More (gallery)-> Design Feature (group)-> Lattice

To use the LATTICE feature, you will need an NX_LATTICE_BASE license, which is available on one of the following product codes;

 NX30220 NX Lattice Structures Design
 NX30220NL NX Lattice Structures Design Node-Locked

Both products will have a prerequisite product;

 UG10100 NX Gateway
