NX Origin and Output of the mom_motion_output_type NX CAM variable

When posting from NX the variable mom_motion_output_type is output. Where does this variable come from and what do the numeric values indicate? Notice this variable when viewed in the post Review Tool as seen below.

This output is coming from the Motion Output Type setting on the Machine Control pane in the CAM Operation . The following number is output depending of which option is selected.

-1  -  Line

 0  -  Arc - Perp to Tool Axis

 1  -  Arc - Perp/par to Tool Axis

 2  -  Nurbs

 3  -  Sinumerik Spline
