Summary

Details

Selecting an edge in the 'Edge Blend' command causes the model to lose
translucency so hidden edges cannot be selected.

For example, when a part has translucency set to 50%, and the 'Edge Blend' icon
is selected, the edges on the backside of the part are visible and the first
edge can be selected. However, at this point the part loses translucency and
the remaining edges on the backside of the part are no longer visible and
cannot easily be selected.

Solution

 This is the result of a Visualization setting.
1. Select 'Preferences-->Visualization'.
2. Select the 'Emphasis' tab.
3. Toggle off 'See-Thru Preview'.
4. OK the Visualization Preferences.
Now the hidden edges should stay visible during the 'Edge Blend' command.
