NX Drafting Callout ID Balloons - creating with manual text so they will not update

How to create Drafting Callout ID Balloons with text that will not update if the Parts List is 
updated but include annotation that will move associatively with the balloon.

Solution

Set the Parts List Callouts Main Symbol Text = Custom and enter a blank space 
in the custom text field. All auto-balloons generated will be empty. To do this:


o Select the Parts List --> MB3 --> Settings
o Parts List-> Callouts
o Format-> Main Symbol Text = Custom
o Custom Text = <space bar>
o Close the settings dialog


o MB3-> Auto Balloon to generate the ID Balloons


o Create a text note containing the text to display in the ID Balloon.
o Select the Specify Location icon in the Origin panel of the note dialog
o Select the Origin Tool icon on that same panel
o Select the 'Offset Character' icon
o Set 'Alignment' to 'Middle Center'
o Set X Scale Factor = 0
o Set Y Scale Factor = 0
o Toggle Associative On
o Place the note on the ID Balloon

The text will be placed associatively at the balloon center and if the symbol is moved the text will move with it.
