What is the difference between 'Pattern origin point' (Quickbar) and the 'Parent reference point' (in table)?



Solution

Pattern Origin Point (on the Quickbar): 


This allows the user to select a key point, other than the direction defining Coordinate system, as an origin for the pattern.


Selected Keypoint (in the Table): 


Defines the reference point on the feature for the pattern. In other words, the values in the spreadsheet refer to this feature reference point relative to the origin point (Pattern Origin Point).
