In this scenario the user's 'Where Used' is not working and accordingly an attempt is made to register the SEPropertyhandler.dll to fix this but results in problems on the Windows 10 client.
Steps to reproduce:
Run cmd prompt
Type: cd C:\Program Files\Solid Edge ST9\Program\
Type: regsvr32 sepropertyhandler.dll
I receive the error although being local administrator on the client:
'The module "SEPropertyHandler.dll" was loaded but the call to DllRegisterServer failed with error code 0x80070005.'
If I run the cmd window as usual (from 'search' or 'cmd' entered at the top of file explorer) I receive the error.
Solution
You will need to open the cmd-prompt from the start-menu and 'RMB/run as admin'
- then you can register the dll.
