How do I show a construction part in the SE_Assembly_construction pseudo
folder?

My Teamcenter preferences are defined thus so that I can use reference/construction
parts in a Teamcenter BOM and show in a pseudo folder:

SEEC_BOM_Synchronize = TRUE
SEEC_Enable_AssemblyConstructions= 1

Steps to reproduce:

 1. Create an Assembly in Solid Edge and save.
 2. Create in-place new part1.
 3. Create in-place new part2.
 4. Define "HigherLevel = No" and "PhysProps = No" for Part2
 5. Save the Assembly and check in to Teamcenter.

In Teamcenter I do not see the SE_Assembly_Construction pseudo folder.

Solution

To show the SE_Assembly_Construction pseudo folder you have to configure the
Rich Client first:

- In the RAC go to Edit -> Options
- Select the left hand pane "General -> Item Revision"
- Add the SE_Assembly_Construction to the "shown relations"
- Go to the Related object tab
- Add the SE_assembly_Constructions to the "Shown Relations"

Now the construction occurrence will show in the SE_Assembly_Construction
pseudo folder.
