Solid Edge Cannot Move/Copy feature in assembly

I have a Synchronous part in an assembly.  I define my selection as 'Face Priority' and turn on 'Move on Select'.  I select a feature which I want to move, activating the Copy button. 


However the feature is only moved and not copied.  Why?

Solution

The reason for this behaviour is that in an assembly environment the Copy button is for occurrence copy only.  You will notice that the Copy button is disabled when the drag is started if it is not an occurrence that is selected.
