Solid Edge Cannot select circular sketch when defining FlashFit relation

I have an assembly that contains a circular sketch.  When I add a bolt to the assembly and attempt to use FlashFit I am unable to  select the centre of the circle to define an axial align.  Why?

Solution

The reason for this behaviour is because there are multiple different relationship types that could be created using FlashFit.   For example, you could either create an axial align with the axis going through the center-point of the circular edge (which is what the Axial Align command does), or you could create a Connect relationship with the axis and the center-point of the circular edge.  Due this ambiguity we do not allow circular edges to be selected using FlashFit.

To resolve this, you need to use the Axial Align command - as it is explicit what is being defined.
