Solid Edge Making parting face flush with the Mold Plates

The parting face of the core and cavity blocks are not flush with the mold
plates.  How do you fix this?

Solution

Right-click your top level Parting Zone in the Mold Tooling tab in Edgebar and choose the Edit Dimensions command.  Click the "Thickness Step," then set the "Opening Point" (keypoint icon) option.  Graphically select a keypoint on your core or cavity block that is where the mold separates. This will align the plates parting zone with the blocks parting zone.
