When using the Edit Parting Zone Definition command and changing some
parameters, it does not seem to change the parting zone.  What is wrong?

Solution

When the ribbon bar for this command first appears, it displays the default
settings for any new parting zone loops you might want to create.  So changing
these settings doesn't change any existing loops.  To change the settings for
an existing loop, select the second icon from the left in the ribbon bar
(Loops Step) to indicate that you want to edit how the parting loops are
handled.  Then, in the graphics window, select the parting loop that you want
to change.  (The ribbon bar will update to show the current settings for that
loop). Then make any required changes (like changing from loft to sweep) and
choose Preview.
