How do you create a mold that has several copies of the same part as inserted
blocks?

Solution

The third icon from the right on the Mold Tooling Toolbar is the "Mold Pattern" icon.  Click this command and then select the existing mold part in the graphic window to start patterning.  (Make sure that part is turned on, or you won't be able to select anything to pattern.)  You will probably want to
use the Auto Center command (at the far right of the ribbon bar), to center the pattern on the mold.  Also, make sure to click the "Edit Pattern Occurrence" step in SmartStep and re-orient the parts as necessary to ensure that they will all be injected at a consistent location.  (You wouldn't want to inject some
parts at the front and others at the back for example, since you want them all to be the same part when you are done.)
