Solution

It is possible that the user is trying to migrate a SolidWorks file that was already saved with a future version of SolidWorks.

Migrating the SolidWorks data with a SolidWorks version that matches with the file version should resolve the issue.

Notes and References

Select the SolidWorks file (e.g. <FILE_NAME>.SLDPRT) in a Windows Explorer/File Explorer on the system which is used for the SolidWorks Data Migration. Open the 'Properties' of that file via the context menu of the selection. Choose the 'Details' tab/register and check the value of the property named 'SW Last saved with'. If it shows a 'Future version' the file version does not match with the installed SolidWorks version.
