You may encounter a situation where a perceived valid cope corner in Routing Steelwork will
raise an invalid cope corner error:

Solution

Stock faces are created as B-Surfaces which is not valid for cope corner boolean operations.
You can workaround this by enabling the following customer default:
"Create Tiled Faces for Stock Bodies"
Any newly created stock will split its faces for every path as well as cross section curves.
This results in stock faces that are planar or cylindrical instead of B-surfaces.
Boolean can work with such bodies and cope corner can be created.

If the stock is created in NX10, you can edit the stock and it will convert B-surfaces of NX10 stocks to planar and cylindrical faces and boolean or cope corner can work with those.

In NX10, the customer default is Routing>Extras>Stock

Starting NX11, it is Routing>General>Stock
